Eatin' Roo

We decided to take another look at the Queen Victorian Markets on Saturday.  While there we were able to find a butcher who carried Kangaroo meat ($19.88/kilo).  Strangely enough, it wasn't the red meat butchers who carried it, rather the poultry shops.  To cook kangaroo properly you sear both sides but do not let the middle cook very much, it is best eaten rare.
